Once your event is planned it is up to you the promoter to make sure the people in your surrounding areas know about it. Just mentioning a group's name will not get the job done. We have complied a list of ideas that we hope will assist you in having a succesful event with The David Hill Trio. We have also gone to great lengths to ensure that you not enter into this endeavor alone.

Ideas for Promoting the Service
1. Write up a press release and send along a group photo to your local and surrounding newspapers. 99% of local papers will run your ad at no charge if you are promoting a free concert event. If there is a small charge you can contact us for a prepared ad that has already been approved by our office for print use.
2. If there is a local gospel, Christian talk, or country radio station, get them to announce the concert and use parts of our songs to build excitement for the event. We can also assist you in providing a customized concert promo that has been professionaly produced to catch the attention of the listener. Most stations will allow you to run free spots on the air if you are providing a free concert event to the public. Do not hesitate in spending some money for radio advertising. By purchasing the ads you can control when they are played to get the most attention. A little investment could mean the difference in an additional 100 people at your event.

3. Hang prepared flyers at local and surrounding area churches, grocery stores, gas stations, and other town businesses. If you need more posters, make copies, print them off of the website, or call us and we will be happy to send more. Make sure your flyer has the date, time and place in plain view. Try typing the information instead of handwriting it. This allows people to read your information clearly.
4. Put the concert in the newspaper’s Bits & Pieces column and Religion sections.
5. Announce the concert many times at your home church. Also, notify sister churches with whom you fellowship. The more the event is talked about, the more excited people will become. Consider a mail-out to all the area churches of all faiths. Postcards are the most economical way to send through the mail.
6. Do a mass email to all your members reminding them to mark the date of your event. Ask them to send the message on to others on their contact list.
7. If you play any taped music before your church service, use some of our songs. We will provide a CD free of charge.
8. Be sure to post the concert event information on your mutlimedia screens (if your church has them). Play the announcement before and after service so people see it as they come and as they leave. We suggest you not promote on your big screens until 2-weeks out from your event.
9. Make sure the event is in your church bulletin, weekly mailer and on your church sign. Two weeks out from your concert date is a good time to place on your church sign. Any longer than that time frame and the message becomes stagnant to those passing by.
10. Most important is to use continuous, steady promotion to build excitement and anticipation for the concert. The more excited people are, the great the attendance will be. Try and put together teams that will assist you in the above efforts.
Prayer Preparation
Utilize prayer warriors in your church. Pray for the David Hill Trio, for strength, good health, and discernment. Pray for those who will be attending the concert that the Lord will prepare them for decisions that they need to make. Pray for your church that this will be the start of a great revival.
